The devices of the D8xx series (e.g. D862, D865) differ in many aspects of hardware and software. Among other things, the devices of the D8xx series have a dual firmware partition. This means that if you want to perform a firmware update on a device of this series, the phone will not restart directly (and then first download the firmware and finally install the update) as in the previous series, but it will load the update during operation and only then restart.

Step by step guide

  1. Go first to our Firmware Update Center page and look for the download link of your phone model (e.g. 

  2. Right-click on the link to copy the link to your clipboard

  3. Open the phone web interface, and navigate to the menu item "Maintenance/Software Update."



  4. Insert the copied link into the text field and press load to start the download.

  5. The screen will light up briefly, you will get a message in the display that the update process has been triggered and the phone loads the firmware file in the background and unpacks it.
    This should usually take less than a minute.



  6. After the download has finished, the phone simply restarts, and you can move on working with the new firmware after a few seconds.

Die Geräte der D8xx Serie (z.B. D862, D865) unterscheiden sich in sehr vielen Punkten der Hard- und Software. Unter anderem verfügen die Geräte der D8xx Serie über eine doppelte Partition. Das heißt, wenn Sie auf einem Gerät dieser Serie ein Firmware-Update durchführen wollen, startet das Telefon nicht wie bei der Vorgängerserie direkt neu (und lädt dann erst die Firmware herunter und installiert schließlich das Update), sondern es lädt das Update während des Betriebs und startet erst dann neu.

Schritt für Schritt Anleitung

  1. Gehen Sie auf unsere Firmware-Download-Seite und suchen Sie nach dem Download-Link Ihres Telefonmodels

  2. Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf den Link, um ihn in die Zwischenablage zu kopieren.

  3. Öffnen Sie das Telefon Webinterface und navigieren Sie zum Menüpunkt "Maintenance/Software Update."



  4. Fügen Sie den kopierten Link in das Textfeld ein und drücken Sie Laden , um den Download zu starten.

  5. Der Bildschirm leuchtet kurz auf, Sie erhalten eine Meldung im Display, dass der Update-Prozess ausgelöst wurde und das Telefon lädt die Firmware-Datei im Hintergrund und entpackt sie.

    Dies sollte normalerweise weniger als eine Minute dauern.



  6. Nach Abschluss des Downloads wird das Telefon einfach neu gestartet, und Sie können nach einigen Sekunden mit der neuen Firmware weiterarbeiten.
