Introduction

The aim of this document is to provide a simple guide to get your DECT Multicell with Snom DECT - M series bases up and running on your 3CX phone system conveniently and in a few steps.

Tip
Please check in advance whether the latest stable firmware version is installed on your DECT base station (M300/M700/M900) and your DECT handsets (M25/M65/M70/M80/M85/M90).

Step 1: Connecting a DECT multicell in the 3CX

If you want to set up a multicell with Snom M700/M900 base stations, on a 3CX - PBX system, it is best to proceed as follows:

First, connect the first an M700/M900 to your local network , where (which you want to make the Primary Base (Data Master)) so that you can reach it with a PC. It should also have access to the Internet.

Note
Please note that you should only connect the primary base (data master) to the 3CX. It will then receive the configuration from the 3CX via provisioning and distribute it automatically within the DECT multicell.

Create extension

It is best to open your 3CX web interface and first create an extension in the 3CX web interface.

Create FXS/DECT device

Navigate to your 3CX web interface to the menu item "FXS/DECT" (From 3CX version 16 → Advanced → FXS/DECT)
There you create a new device by clicking the Plus button (Add +FXS/DECT),

enter the MAC address of the desired M700/M900 and click OK.
The data record then looks like this:
Switch to the "Extensions" tab and select the extension you just created.
Go back to the first page "General" and open the record to copy out the provisioning link.

There you will also find the new admin password for the M700.

Step 2: Configuring the Snom Multicell

Now open the web interface of your Snom M700/M900 by entering the IP address of the base.
If you don't know how to find out the IP address, please refer to the following "Discovery Mode" instructions.
Navigate to the menu item, "Management":
Copy the provisioning link into the "Configuration Server" field and apply the settings.
The M700/M900 should restart and get the configuration from the 3CX.
Now switch back to the web interface of your primary M700, which should now be restarted.
Under the menu item "Servers" it should now look well filled like in the following picture:

After you have connected the first DECT base to your 3CX system, the web interface of the base is no longer accessible with the username and password "Admin". For security reasons, 3CX assigns a new secure password, which you can find in the 3CX web interface, in the DECT base device configuration under FXS/DECT. The following screenshot shows the password at "Device Web Page Password".

Einleitung

Das Ziel dieses Dokuments ist es, eine einfache Anleitung zur Verfügung zu stellen, mit der Sie Ihre DECT Multizelle mit Basen der Snom DECT - M-Serie bequem und in wenigen Schritten an Ihrem 3CX-Telefonsystem in Betrieb nehmen können.

Tip
Bitte überprüfen Sie vorab, ob auf Ihrem DECT Basisstation (M300/M700/M900) sowie Ihren DECT Mobilteilen (M25/M65/M70/M80/M85/M90) die neueste stabile Firmware -Version installiert ist.

Schritt 1: Anbinden einer DECT Multizelle in der 3CX

Wenn Sie eine Multizelle mit Snom M700/M900er Basistationen aufbauen wollen, an einer 3CX - PBX Anlage gehen Sie am besten folgernder Maßen vor:

Zunächst schließen Sie die erste eine M700/M900 an Ihr lokales Netzwerk an , wo (die Sie zur Primären Basis (Daten Master) machen wollen), so dass Sie sie mit einem PC erreichen können. Sie sollte auch Zugang zum Internet haben.

Note
Bitte beachten Sie das Sie nur die Primäre Basis (Daten Master) mit der 3CX verbinden sollten. Diese erhält dann via provisionierung die Konfiguration von der 3CX und verteilt diese innerhalb der DECT-Multizelle auomatisch.

Nebenstelle anlegen

Öffnen Sie am besten Ihre 3CX-Weboberfläche und legen zuerst eine Nebenstelle in der Weboberfläche der 3CX an.

FXS/DECT Gerät anlegen

Navigieren sie in Ihre 3CX-Weboberfläche zum Menüpunkt "FXS/DECT" (Ab 3CX Version 16 → Advanced → FXS/DECT)
Dort legen Sie durch anklicken des Plus Buttons (+FXS/DECT hinzufügen) ein neues Gerät an,

tragen die MAC Adresse der gewünschten M700/M900 ein und klicken auf OK.
Anschließend sieht der Datensatz so aus:
Wechseln sie auf den Reiter "Nebenstellen" und wählen die soeben angelegte Nebenstelle aus.
Wechseln sie zurück auf die erste Seite "Allgemein" und öffnen den Datensatz um den Provisionierungs-Llink herauszukopieren

Dort erfahren sie auch das neue Admin Passwort für die M700/M900.

Schritt 2: Konfigurieren der Snom Multizelle

Öffne Sie jetzt die Weboberfläche Ihrer Snom M700/M900, indem Sie die IP-Adresse der Basis eingeben.
Wenn Sie nicht wissen wie Sie die IP-Adresse herausfinden soll, schaue Sie sich am besten die folgende an: How to enter M300, M700, M900 - Web Interface.
Navigieren sie zum Menüpunkt, "Management":
Dort kopiere Sie den Provisionierungslink in das Feld: "Configuration Server" hinein und übernehmen die Einstellungen.
Die M700/M900 sollte nun neu starten und sich die Konfiguration von der 3CX holen.
Wechseln sie jetzt wieder zur Weboberfläche Ihrer primären M700, die nun neugestartet sein sollte.
Unter dem Menüpunkt "Servers" sollte es nun gut gefüllt aussehen wie im folgendem Bild:

Nachdem Sie die erste DECT Basis mit Ihrem 3CX System verbunden haben, ist die Weboberfläche der Basis nicht mehr mit Benutzername und Passwort "Admin" erreichbar. 3CX vergibt aus Sicherheitsgründen ein sicheres neues Passwort, welches Sie im Webinterface der 3CX, in der Geräte Konfiguration der DECT Basis unter FXS/DECT finden. Im folgenden Screenshot unter "Passwort Online-Oberfl. Gerät" zu sehen.
