Konftel 300Wx devices can be registered on the Snom M300, M700, M900 DECT base stations.

Starting from version v355B21 up to 10 Konftel 300Wx devices per base/multicell are supported.

Procedure

The Konftel 300Wx is treated like a Snom handsets (i.e. M25, M65, M85,), therefore an extension must have been set up for it on the web interface of the base station.

To set up an extension please refer to the M300/M700 Admin Guide , M900 Admin Guide or read more here. Afterward, the registration will be completed on the Konftel 300Wx itself.

Please follow the steps below: 

1. On the Konftel 300Wx, select: SETTINGS -> DECT -> REGISTER to start the registration mode. Note: You need to confirm all your choices by pressing OK.
2. Select base (1–4). Note: Four base stations can be registered in the Konftel 300Wx. If no base station has been programmed, choose no. 1. 
3. Enter the base station’s security code (PIN code). The code is 0000 for the Snom M300, M700, M900 base station.
4. The Konftel 300Wx is now in registration mode and is searching for a Snom base station.
5. If registration was successful, the word SUCCESS will appear in the display of the Konftel 300Wx.
6. The Konftel 300Wx is now ready to be used with the Snom DECT base station, M300, M700, M900.
   
   

For the usage in the US

If you are unable to register the Konftel 300Wx for use in the USA, please take the following steps:

The base station requires the 300Wx to be set to US-Nonextended for the US. You can determine if the Konftel is using the correct DECT band and resolve this by adjusting the DECT band by doing the following:

Access the Service Menu on the Konftel 300Wx:

• Press MENU
• Longpress on the Hold button (Lower left corner).
• Longpress on the Line mode button (Lower right corner)
• Go to DECT REGION and change the DECT band
  
  Options are:
  • EU
  • US-Extended
  • US-Legacy
  • US-Nonextended
    
    
• Select US-Nonextended.
• Save and exit from the service menu and then try registering again with the Snom DECT base station.
  
  

Konftel 300Wx-Geräte können auf den Snom M300, M700, M900 DECT-Basisstationen registriert werden.

Ab der Version v355B21 werden bis zu 10 Konftel 300Wx Geräte pro Basis/Multizelle unterstützt.

Vorgehensweise:

Das Konftel 300Wx wird wie ein Snom-Handset (z.B. M25/M65/M85) behandelt, daher muss dafür eine Nebenstelle auf der Weboberfläche der Snom-Basisstation M300,M700,M900 eingerichtet werden.

Um eine Nebenstelle einzurichten, lesen Sie bitte das M300/M700 Admin Handbuch, M900 Admin Handbuch oder lesen sie hier mehr. Danach wird die Registrierung auf dem Konftel 300Wx selbst abgeschlossen.

Bitte führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus:

1. Wählen Sie am Konftel 300Wx: EINSTELLUNGEN -> DECT -> REGISTER, um den Registrierungsmodus zu starten. Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie alle Ihre Eingaben mit OK bestätigen müssen.
2. Basis (1-4) auswählen. Hinweis: Im Konftel 300Wx können vier Basisstationen registriert werden. Wenn keine Basisstation programmiert wurde, wählen Sie Nr. 1.
3. Geben Sie den Sicherheitscode (PIN-Code) der M700/M300 Basisstation ein. Der Code lautet 0000 für die Basisstation Snom M300,M700,M900.
4.  Das Konftel 300Wx befindet sich nun im Registrierungsmodus und sucht nach einer Snom-Basisstation.
5. Wenn die Registrierung erfolgreich war, erscheint im Display des Konftel 300Wx das Wort SUCCESS.
6. Das Konftel 300Wx ist nun einsatzbereit für Snom Dect M300, M700, M900.
   
   

Für die Verwendung in den USA

Wenn Sie nicht in der Lage sind, das Konftel 300Wx für die Verwendung in den USA zu registrieren unternehmen sie bitte folgende Schritte:

Damit das mit der Basis funktioniert, muss die 300Wx für die USA auf "US-Nonextended" eingestellt sein. Sie können überprüfen, ob das Konftel das richtige DECT-Band verwendet, und dies bei Bedarf durch Anpassen des DECT-Bandes beheben, indem Sie wie folgt vorgehen:

Rufen Sie das Servicemenü am Konftel 300Wx auf:

• Drücken Sie MENÜ
• Drücken Sie die Halten-Taste (untere linke Ecke) lange.
• Drücken Sie die Leitungs-Taste (untere rechte Ecke) lange.
• Gehen Sie zu DECT REGION und ändern Sie das DECT-Band.
  
  Optionen sind:
  • EU
  • US-Extended
  • US-Legacy
  • US-Nonextended

• Wählen Sie US-Nonextended aus.
• Speichern und verlassen Sie das Servicemenü und versuchen Sie dann, sich bei der Basis zu registrieren.
