When you are trying to create a DECT multicell chain you can encounter this error, described by the following screenshot or the reported syslog error.

loc6 .Debug 2017-03-09T03:45:10Z 173-[ SYNCMGR: Two Primary base stations cannot create a chain. Default the one you want to be Secondary.]
This error can be caused by one of the following situations and will prevent the DECT chain creation:
- Fw-version mismatch: a base is trying to join the chain with a different fw version. The new base must have the same fw version of the primary.
- Multiple primary: you have more than one base with same system ID wanting to join as primary. In this case you have to make sure that the new base you are adding is factory defaulted.
