  • Please use at least EndPoint Manager 15.0.53 Stable version to have multi-cell functionality.
  • All base stations have to be on the same firmware release.
  • If you change a base station parameter on FreePBX side, you need to do an extension assignment to make this configuration effective.

Preconditions

  • Brand Snom is created in the Endpoint Manager → Advanced → Add Brand
  • M900 Template is created under Snom Brand via Snom New Template
  • Extensions have been created
  • All base stations are on the same firmware level

Procedure for Primary base

  • Login to FreePBX web user interface 
  • Go to Settings Endpoint Manager
  • Open the right panel as shown below

  • Click on Base Station Management under Advanced menu
    • Click Add Base Station 
    • Fill in the blanks with the required information/selection (Brand, Template, MAC address, IP address if peer to peer selected etc...)

    • Click Save BaseStation
  • Go to Endpoint → Extension Mapping 

    • Click Add Extension under Extension Mapping
    • Select a predefined extension from the list
    • Select Brand, Template, Model and the Base Station respectively
    • Select Save and Rebuild Configs from the dropdown below and click Use Selected 
    • Repeat these steps for each extension that is planned to be added to the base

 

  • Log in to the M900 WUI
    • Under Management, put the provisioning server address as the configuration server address (where the config file is located on FreePBX side)

    • Click Save and Reboot
  • Click Multi-Cell menu
    • A message appears that the base station is joined as Primary

Procedure for Secondary base(s)

  • Login to WUI of M900 (No configuration on FreePBX required)
  • Go to Country menu and align Country, Timeserver and Language informations with Primary 
  • Go To Multi-Cell menu and enable Multi Cell System and align System Chain ID with Primary 
  • Save and Reboot
  • Click Multi-Cell menu
    • A message appears as the base station is joined as Secondary
  • Check if Extensions available on Secondary as well as Primary base station under Extension menu
  • Check if Server information is available on Secondary as well as Primary base station under Servers menu
