Description

This setting selects the source of information about the transport protocol (UDP, TCP, TLS) to send the SIP responses.

When set to ON, the transport protocol is obtained from the received SIP message content. According to SIP RFC3261, the top Via: header is the source of information.

When set to OFF, the transport protocol is detected from multiple information sources (e.g. the socket to received the SIP request, the transport used to register the SIP identity, ...). When none of these sources are reliable, the top Via: header is read as a fallback source.
