Description

Hearing DTMF tones during call initiation (dialing) is enabled only for some tone schemes (due to each country's ISDN standardization). However, some customers asked to be able to disable these tones when in handset mode, for privacy reasons. You can disable them by turning this setting to off. Please note that this setting has no effect on speaker/headset mode.
Here is the list of the tone schemes this feature will affect:

  • *Great Britain
  • *India
  • *Italy
  • *Japan
  • *Mexico
  • *Netherlands
  • *New Zealand
  • *United States
Note: During a call the DTMF echo is always audible.
