Description
This setting enables the IEEE802.1X EAP pass-through mode, as described in RFC3748 section 2.3 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3748#section-2.3). The phone then acts as an EAP authenticator, and thus needs RADIUS server connection details.
When the setting is enabled, the integrated PC port is blocked from the network until an attached client authenticates itself via EAP (EAP-MD5, or EAP-TLS).
Upon detection of connection loss on the PC port, the phone blocks the port again and an attached client needs to reauthenticate before proceeding.
The following settings are available for configuring EAP pass-through mode:h1. Settings/ieee8021x_eap_auth_addrh1. Settings/ieee8021x_eap_auth_porth1. Settings/ieee8021x_eap_auth_passwordh1. Settings/ieee8021x_eap_auth_mac_addrh1. Settings/ieee8021x_eap_auth_debug
