Hello,
we have some D735 connected to SIP gateway. The phones have FW version 10.1.175.19 and HW version 4. Every time after a reboot, the phones try to download from MS provisioning another FW and then fail. Message "Validating firmware...checking hardware revision - HW rev. is not supported by FW. - Device HW revision: 4 - Firmware HW revision: 3".
Skipping this message, the phones then work.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Hi,
Some specific hardware version for some of our devices may require a recent firmware to work as expected
It may be that version 10.1.175.19, already on board this D735, is the minimum version required by the phone's hardware: if the platform is trying to downgrade the firmware that may not be possible, and that leads to the error
I would suggest changing the FW version to 10.1.175.19 at least on the platform's side, so that this doesn't happen, or to remove the automatic firmware downgrade if that's not possible
