Hi I have a SNOM D865 running firmware version  10.1.184.14 firmware.  When provisioning using SRAPS over the built in WiFI all seems to work as expected.  But when provisioning using the built in network port and POE.  It connects and downloads some settings but the device background never gets installed and the device never registers with my VOIP provider.  Has anyone seem this?

    This is something we would need to investigate in a private ticket because we'll need more info and files to understand the situation

    You can raise a private ticket if you're a Snom partner, or ask your Snom reseller to do so for you

    If you don't have a Snom reseller you can raise it with our sales team Sales, they will be able to point you towards a reseller that also is a partner and may be able to help

    Thanks for the message.

    Unfortunately our VOIP provider doesn't at this moment support the D865 on their system so won't help.  Something I found out after purchasing the device from Amazon (no support there either) .  I have contacted my local UK Snom sales person and there wasn't much he could do as I was not a reseller. 

    So it's like going around in circles at the moment.

    Hi,

    We only offer direct support to Snom partners I am afraid, and we do not recommend buying our devices from Amazon or any other web shop with no tech support for the users

    The only thing you could do is to return the device to Amazon and ask your sales contact to direct you to a Snom partner: they will be able to provide the phone and all the technical support you need, as they have direct experience with our devices in the first place and can raise a ticket with us directly if they can't help
