Snom Connect is an application that allows users to update the firmware of their Snom A330 headsets, and set personal preferences for the ideal use of their products.

The app is available for Windows and MAC, a mobile version supporting the C300 speaker phone also exists.

Supported Operating System and version

In order to install and run the software properly, your computer should be running on one of these two Operating Systems with the following min. versions:

Windows:

  • Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or later
  • An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE3 capable
  • At least 4 GB of RAM is recommended

MAC:

  • macOS 10.9 or later
  • An Intel processor (64bit) or Apple silicon
  • At least 4 GB of RAM is recommended

Installation

To install the app on our PC or Mac, download the right install package, and follow the instructions given throughout the installation process.

Connection

Once you plug in your headset to the USB port of your laptop, an image of your device model will appear on the home screen of the application.

Make sure the 3.5mm jack is correctly plugged into the USB controller unit. If this is not the case, you will see the LEDs of the controller unit flashing.

User preferences

The user can set the preferred language and define the behaviour notifications and if the app should be accessible from the icons tray.



Device firmware update

To check the firmware version of your device, click on the second to left button in the navigation bar.

The app will tell you the currently installed firmware version, and if an update is available.

To run the firmware update, simply click on the Update button.

Once your firmware has been updated, the app will show this information.

Software update

The application can also check for software updates to the application. If an update is available, it will be shown on the same page as the firmware updates, and a button Update will appear.
