Note

Make sure the 3.5mm jack is correctly plugged into the USB controller unit. If this is not the case, you will see the LEDs of the controller unit flashing.

Note

The LED is lit steadily in orange colour when connected properly.

Device settings and user preferences

By clicking on the Snom device you can access and alter the individual device settings and change usage preferences:

The user can set the preferred language and define the behaviour notifications and if the app should be accessible from the icons tray.

You can pair/unpair other Snom Bluetooth devices with the dongle, currently only another A350M.

You can select different profiles for the sound equalizer of the A350M, e.g. Bass Boost, Thin Bass, Normal (Default setting), Thin Treble and Treble Boost

The LED lits up green, when the camera becomes operational. The camera and the microphones are now enabled and a preview window is shown.

You can adapt several settings to your needs, e.g. zoom, FOV (field of view), brightness, contrast, saturation which will have an immediate effect in the preview window.

Device firmware update & application update

  • To check the firmware version of your device, click on the second to left button in the navigation bar. The Snom Connect (PC/Desktop App) will determine the currently installed firmware version, and offers an update if applicable. To run the firmware update, simply click on the Update button. Once your firmware has been updated, it will be shown.
  • The Snom Connect (PC/Desktop App) can also check for new application versions. If an update is available, it will be shown on the same page as the firmware updates, and a button Update will appear. You can now download the new version and install it.

The update process starts transferring the firmware from Snom's download server to the camera, it will then be validated and installed. During the process, the LED flashes slowly in orange colour.
