Re-implemented in re-designed form since FW 10.1.67.0

Description

Set up the payload type for Out-of-Band DTMF here The default setting is 101. This can be an arbitrary 8-bit value as long as the involved communication partners are both using the same value.
Since 8.7.2 this setting is only available on MP, the other phone-models can handle all sorts of incoming dtmf-codec numbers (dynamic codec assignment) making this setting obsolete.

Since FW 10.1.67.0
The setting can be changed in WUI under "Advanced Settings->Audio->DTMF Payload Type". The default value is 101 and the value range is 96 - 127. If the value is changed and the new value is already used internally for another codec, then the payload type for this codec is changed to the first free payload type that is found in the dynamic codec range.Example: dtmf_payload_type is changed to 99 and payload type 99 is internally used for G726-32, then the payload type for the codec G726-32 will be changed to 96 (not used internally). The changes are only effective for outgoing calls, because for incoming calls the payload type will be auto-adjusted / negotiated according to the remote payload types.

Valid Values

Integer values, e.g. <100>, <127>.
Range: 0 up to 127.

Since FW 10.1.67.0
Range: 96 - 127

Default Value

101
