Description

This OCS-only setting determines whether NTLMv2 should be used for authentication. Normally this should be on. Note that NTLMv2 requires the system time and may not work in an environment where no NTP server is available.
In this case NTLMv1 should be attempted (the server must allow it) by turning this setting off.
