With enrollment of this firmware release in your specific PBX / phone deployment(s) users may experience one or both of the following changes: Technical background: New customization options for the audio LED behavior were introduced by XQI-1167, as referenced below in section New features. By this change, several new settings were introduced and default values added, that may cause the changes of user experience. But this will happen only if the setting led_on is changed from initial default values and/or if the setting status_msgs_that_are_blocked is changed from initial default values. Note : you can make custom adjustments to the value collections above depending on your user specific requirement - basically leveraging the new feature. Please be reminded to also take a look into the new settings: led_speaker_usage, led_headset_usage, led_mute_usage. The phone models D717 and D735 will get new LCDs in an upcoming hardware revision. This release here is the fourth public available firmware that supports the new hardware revision and all the previous ones. But to prevent the new revision from being potentially bricked by downgrade attempts to older firmware releases, we introduced a compatibility check in the firmware update process (see SAP-6152 at 10.1.84.12 Release). In addition, new settings / setting values are integrated in this release here to facilitate identifying the new hardware revision to support e.g. it's handling in provisioning or other related maintenance-, inventory- management tasks. The new phone models D385N and D785N are basically HW revisions of D385 and D785 without the Bluetooth chip. In upcoming hardware revisions of D713, D717 and D735 the network PHY is changed.Important advice: The common audio LED behavior can potentially be changed & new status messages can occur in PUI

The same downgrade / potential brick protections as for D717/D735 new HW (new LCD's) do apply. The recently introduced compatibility check in the firmware update process is now extended to this revisions.
Known issues and limitations:
SAP-5625: The MJPEG support (e.g. for door phone integration) is limited to work correctly only in idle state, but not in Ringing or Connected, - the issue is under investigation.
→ No workaround. Please make sure that you do not use this version if you need MJPEG support for Ringing and/or Connected state
SAP-5942: Due to a regression the setting rtp_early_media_muted is broken, - no local ringback with early media. Related log statement: "[DEBUG0] MEDIA: RTP: no incoming early media packets, play ringtone instead".
→ No workaround, but a known last known good with 10.1.37.11
XQI-1898: Due to a regression pressing the mute button once on Snom A150 or A170 headsets with A230 DECT USB dongle does not work anymore @desktop telephones with USB
→ No workaround, but a beta FW version with the required correction can be made available on request (please see: How to submit a support request on Snom Helpdesk)
XQI-1899: Due to a regression pressing the call button once on Snom A150 or A170 headsets with A230 DECT USB dongle does not work anymore @desktop telephones with USB
→ No workaround, but a beta FW version with the required correction can be made available on request (please see: How to submit a support request on Snom Helpdesk)
Changes since release version 10.1.119.10
New features:
XQI-471: The key event F_INSTANT_REDIAL supporting a confirmation free redial experience by straight forward dialing of most recent number dialed is added to new D8xx series @D862 @D865
XQI-1167: Introduced new customization options for the audio LED behavior, incl. new settings: led_speaker_usage, led_headset_usage, led_mute_usage and new default values added for: led_on & status_msgs_that_are_blocked
XQI-1354: Introduced a new setting: locale to display dates & numbers accordingly for the new D8xx series @D862 @D865
XQI-1443: A new setting ldap_resolution_during_call is introduced, which supports to fine control the LDAP RNL, - Reverse Number Lookup behavior
XQI-1516: Introduced a new setting enable_backlight_dimming for the new D8xx series @D862 @D865
XQI-1545: Adding support for upcoming Snom headsets A330 (M/D) @desktop telephones with USB
XQI-1599: A new setting provider_help_text is introduced allowing to costumize the information inside the PUI "Help" screen for the new D8xx series @D862 @D865
Improvements and modifications:
XQI-1358: A new phone book XML format is introduced for the Local Directory plus tbook export adjustments in light of tbook / tbook repository refactoring
XQI-1438: Loading a page is not supposed to show the related URL in XML Minibrowser interactions anymore
SAP-6870: By another step of local phone book refactoring, it is now possible to assign an identical phone number to multiple contact entries. Before only the latest provided contact was kept [SCPP-7340]
Corrections:
XQI-1317: The timezone for Belarus was corrected to UTC+3
XQI-1327: It was possible that receiving a malformed SIP message did cause an temporally out-of-service of the phone
XQI-1355: Improved synchronisation & error handling in context of XSI service and the refactored local phone book repository #Broadsoft
XQI-1414: Timezone DST & format were incorrect for Santiago, Easter Islands and Havana
XQI-1496: Due to the local phone book refactoring, the sorted view did place contact entries that have first or last name starting with a number (e.g. 7crown) at the end of the list (instead of starting with such entries)
XQI-1526: Local phone book contact entries with special characters, e.g. brackets were excluded in search result lists on the PUI, phone user interface
SAP-6888: Due to the local phone book refactoring, the .csv file based import of contact entries via WUI, web user interface did not work or failed if entries are assigned to groups (like VIP, Favorite, Deny List), or have multiple numbers / sub-contacts
