Hi,
I need to understand well how to configure the parameter "provisioning_order" via auto-provisioning (Metaswitch) to reduce the phone's reboot time.
During the reboot, our phones spend a lot of time before to come usable. From a "factory" it is normal becuse the default configuration is "redirection:stop pnp:stop dhcp:stop tr69:stop" and the redirection method is not used by us (we know it could be bypassed forwarding the address "secure-provisioning.snom.com" to an internal IP address).
But when the phone does the first provisioning we can set the "provisioning_order" as we want.
The scenario is this:
- phone from a factory uses the option 66 from DHCP server to retrive the "setting_server" and is able to rerive all config files (with a new tokenized setting_server to be used for all subsequent provisioning requests)
In curent configuration the provisioned parameter is:
provisioning_order=dhcp:stop pnp:stop redirection:stop tr69:stop
- for all subsequent reboot the phone starts very slowly and still use the option 66 from DHCP. Metaswitch reply with an authentication request because the phone doesn't use the tockenized URL.
We need to await more than 2 minutes .. and finally the phone uses the the setting server stored on its configuration .. and it works.
So, at least for all subsequent provisioning requests (except for first from factory) the phone should use only the configured setting_server ignoring any other provisioning method ... expecially the option 66 from DHCP ... and also the TR-69 and PNP (not used by us).
How should I configure "provisioning_order" to achieve this?
We are using D7xx (new models) and FW 10.1.119.10 or 10.1.159.12
Let me know if you need more info.

Hi, please try to leave the provisioning_order empty.
