Hi, when connecting an A170c headseat to a D865 via PC/USB sockets no tone/voice is transmitted in either direction.
Connection only works with the RJ45/RJ9 and R12/R12 cables. Is that actually the right way? Shouldn´t it work with PC/USB, directly into the phone? Thank you.

    Hi,

    Yes, I can confirm the A170 was developed to be connected to a Snom desk phone via RJ cabling

    The USB cable should be reserved to connecting the headset to a PC

    This is also reflected in the quick guide for the A170, showing how to connect to a desk phone using the "Phone" and "EHS" jack
