Dear Community, dear Snom,

I have two M900 (R1A and R1C) in a multi cell. A change to the PBX prompted me to perform a factory reset on both bases. This was done through the web GUI.

The firmware of the bases was 530B9.

Since then access via HTTP is no longer possible. The bases boot, get an address via DHCP and the LEDs light up green. According to nmap ports 443 and 10010 are open. Unfortunately, attempts at a new factory reset via the button have not helped so far.

Maybe you have a solution.

Thanks and best regards,

Oliver Aßmus

  1. Hello Oliver Aßmus

Please test the Login with another Browser and with the https://<IP-Adress> Link. You said the 443 Port (HTTPS) is open, then you should can connect on this Port. But not every Bowser accept the HTTPS Service - for example Chrome - from the beginning.

Firefox did this in my network very well.

    Best regards

    Hello Stefan,

    thanks for the hint.

Your answer in the ticket https://service.snom.com/display/FORUM/M400+not+found gave me the solution.

Only Firefox currently seems to be able to handle certificate errors as exceptions.

It is a pity that the release notes don't mention that HTTPS is active in the standard configuration.

    Regards,

    Oliver
