I am trying to provision D785 on freepbx using http. I enter the provisioning url as http://pbx-fqdn/tftproot and in logs I see below messages

Please help in below two questions

1> Is the provisioning url is corect

2> as freepbx need credentials for http provisioning, were we can provide the credentials in SNOM phones

    Hi,
    if you set the setting server as http://pbx-fqdn/tftproot the phone will search for these files:

    http://pbx-fqdn/tftproot/snomD785.htm
    http://pbx-fqdn/tftproot/snomD785-MACADDRESS.htm
    http://pbx-fqdn/tftproot/snomD785.firmware.htm

    if the http server ask for credentials, you must add user and password on the phone, by compiling these parameters:

    https://service.snom.com/display/wiki/http_client_user
    https://service.snom.com/display/wiki/http_client_pass

    and you can do it by hand, or via SRAPS, or via another provisioning file.

    After adding http client user name and password, I am not getting authentication error. But now It says 404. Does it mean config file does not exist on pbx

    please change the setting server url from http://pbx-fqdn/tftproot to http://pbx-fqdn/tftproot/ (with a / at the end)

    Hi, it is the server that reply with a 404. Please check the server configuration. If you point your web browser to http://xx.1x2.16x.xx:83/tftpboot/snomD785-0004139XXX48.htm do you see the file?
