I have some Snom Pa1 (8.7.5.35) registered on a cisco CUCM cluster. I tried to configure the second SIP identity on the second subsciber cisco, but the device does not register. Only if I force a new registration. I need to configure two identities with the same account that point to 2 different Sip registers. Is there a best practice to configure a failover?

Hi,
To use the SIP failover you can configure two identities and use the following parameter
https://service.snom.com/display/wiki/user_failover_identity
This should allow the device to switch to a secondary identity once the first one is unregistered.
Thank you

Hi Gianmaria,
I have configured identity 1 and 2 with the same account, only "register" is differt indentity1= IP address SUB1 indentity2= IP address SUB2.
Identity2 set "failover Identity"= Identity1.
Pa1 never registers with any identity
I try to change
thanks

Hi,
We would need some SIP traces to see why they aren't registering, but that isn't something I feel confident handling here in a public forum, this isn't just about failover apparently but about the registration itself.
Any way you can refer to the reseller you've got this device from so they can raise a ticket?
This can be quite long, especially with a Cisco PBX, and it isn't something we fell confident we should handle in our Community.
Thank you

Hi Jörg,
We have to do a workaround:
Two user and two DN with two registration in fault-back.
The problem is need two license

Hi Giacomo,
thanks for your response. This is in fact not my preferred solution.
