To install a new firmware version on a base station and/or handset, please follow the instructions provided in the firmware update guide.

WARNING

  • Version <= 480BXX can only be upgraded via http locally. Snom download server supports only https!
  • After upgrading to version 450BXX or higher the rollback to 410BXX or previous versions is not possible.
  • After uprading to version 530B9  you need to update all M5 Repeaters to use V530B2 . >V610 firmwares do not support M5.
  • Please read the release notes carefully before upgrading.
  • Please reboot the base station(s) (chain reboot in multi cells) before triggering the upgrade, to free up some memory and avoid any issues.

How to Update a DECT Device

  • Firmware update server address: https://dect.snom.com
  • Required version: 530 (for the base M900, M700, M300)
  • Required version: 530 (for the handsets M25, M65, M70, M80, M85, M90)
  • Required version: 531  (for the handsets M30)
  • Required version: 530 (for the headset A190)
  • Required branch: 1400 (for the base M900, M700, M300)
  • Required branch: 1400 (for the handsets M25, M65, M70, M80, M85, M90)
  • Required branch: 1400 (for the handsets M30)
  • Required branch: 02  (for the headset A190)
