Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances (using short-wavelength UHF radio waves in the ISM band from 2.4 to 2.485Â GHz) from fixed and mobile devices, and building personal area networks (PANs).
Bluetooth supports the transmission of voice and data.
Use in everyday life:
Mostly Bluetooth is used today for wireless connection of headsets and to wirelessly connect perepherie devices such as keyboards or computer mice to a notebook or smart pad.
Use at Snom:
Snom uses the Bluetooth standard to connect desk phones (e.g. D785) or DECT handsets (e.g. M70, M80, M90) with cordless headsets.
