Introduction
The Device Manager provides a comprehensive suite of advanced device management capabilities, enabling administrators to maintain full control over managed phones. It allows administrators to:
- Monitor device status in real time
- Execute troubleshooting actions such as rebooting or resetting devices
- Instantly apply configuration changes across devices
These features ensure efficient device oversight and rapid response to operational needs.
Supported phone models
Device Manager can be activated for the following Snom phone models:
- D713
- D717
- D735
- D812
- D815
- D862
- D865
- SP800
Activating Device Manager
Per default, Device Manager is not activated for Snom phones. Users can either activate device manager per single phone or for a group of phones via the SRAPS portal and API.

Task scheduler
Some features can be triggered immediately or scheduled to be carried out at a later date, or repeatedly over a given period.

An overview of all scheduled tasks are shown in the Scheduled tasks list under the Tasks tab.
Notifications
SRAPS Device Manager can notify you in the event of one of the following status updates of a device:
- SIP registration status changed to unregistered
- Device went offline (no longer reachable by Device Manager) / Device became online again
A new notification is announced in the top right corner of the portal, and a counter of new messages is shown.
Firewall configuration
If you want to manage your phones using Device Manager, please ensure that the network port 8883 is open at the site where the phone are installed.
