We use D865 phones in different offices. How can I catch an incoming call to another extension if my colleague is temporarily absent, a call forwarding hasn't been programmed but I can hear the ringing of the incoming call? That *20[extention] does not seem to work.

Oct 31, 2025Thanks. So, according to this document:
https://www.easybell.de/hilfe/cloud-telefonanlage/antwort/call-pickup-mit-der-cloud-telefonanlage-nutzen/
the "shortcode", as Easybell calls it, is *8[extension].
I don't know the system in detail, but most other PBXes I know have concept like "pick-up group", i.e. typically not every extension is allowed to pick-up calls from any other extension, but the respective users need to be in a certain group. You may want to have an eye on that, too.
