Hello.
We have a few D150s that we have recently sold and have attempted to configure in two separate client networks. In both cases we connected the phones to the network with DHCP and we are able to connect to them via the web interface. However, when attempting to log in using no credentials (even tried with admin/admin and admin/0000) it rejects any credentials given until you get a 1 minute waiting period until you can try again.
After a fresh reboot, for some reason, you can enter the web interface using blank credentials after 5 times clicking Sign in. This will get you to the first screenshot. However, clicking or refreshing the page will give you the login failure error again, like in the second screenshot. Already factory reset the devices multiple times, used different PCs (even an iMac) and used different web browsers. Same issue every time. We also cannot provision them.

We have worked with SNOM phones for years, yet these new ones are the only models we have had this issues with. Tried looking into upgrading the firmware, but no matter where I click in the web interface it kicks me out. Not sure what else I can try. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Nov 20, 2025Hi,
Our phones do not have default credentials, the initial page of the web interface based on the screenshots is prompting you to actually set both and admin and HTTP password
If you're not provisioning the phones, you can set any password you want and press Save, which will allow you to enter the WUI using the credentials you've set
If the phone is being provisioned, the credentials are likely being provisioned too
If you need further assistance please raise a private ticket, that's the way we offer support to Snom partners and if you're installing a Snom phone you're likely to be a partner
If you don't know how to access the Helpdesk to raise a private ticket, or if you are not registered, or if you aren't a Snom partner and need help from one of our partners please contact our sales team to get more information https://www.snom.com/en/contact/contact-person/

Nov 21, 2025Hi,
Thank you for the reply.
The ones we have seem to ask for credentials. Both out of the box and after a factory reset, as soon as I connect to the web interface for the first time it will ask for the username and password. As mentioned before, if I click Sign in 5 times with no credentials I am able to see the security page to set the new password, but any interaction with the web interface, such as to save the new password, causes it to show the error in the 2nd screenshot. I have to reset it or reboot it to see that page again.
We never had this issue with any of the 20x D120s deployed and other older models before, just with these 3x D150s we have.
Thanks

Nov 21, 2025Hi,
This is not standard for any of our phones, it may be that they're getting provisioned by our server for example
But as said

Nov 24, 2025Hi,
Understood, thanks.
I do not think we are Snom partners however.
