We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
We are new at snom. We have M900 bases and M70 handsets. We added extensions to the M900. We can register the handsets from the handsets but we do not want to do it with 60 handsets.
When we click in M900 to "Register Handset(s)" and "Start SIP Registration(s)" nothing happens on the handsets.
Triggering the registration from the base station isn't enough, you will always need to also trigger it from the handsets themselves, as a security feature the DECT protocol in this case only allows to register a device by using a PIN (called "AC Code" on our base stations).
Method 1 (page 23) does not mention that PIN needed on the handsets.
Method 2 (page 25) mentions the other way.

Hi,
On page 23, you can still see the note "To be able to use the handset, you also need to select Register in the Connectivity menu of the handset itself", you'll need a PIN there and it isn't specified because it's a "normal" thing to do with the DECT registration.
On page 25 there is the second point reporting "On the handset, select the Connectivity menu": unfortunately as confirmed, there is no way to register a handset without starting the registration from the handset itself.
