Hello,

Today, I wanted to update a new Snom 360 from V6 to V7. I had reached the following status before the update:

Linux V3.38

Application V6.5.10

Root FS ramdiskToJffs2 V3.36

Binary for update: snom360-7.1.30-SIP-f.bin


The update ran without errors. At the end, “Update successful, reboot ........” appeared on the display. After several minutes, there was no reboot. I had disconnected the phone from the power supply. After switching it on again, the phone no longer booted; only the backlight was lit.


Can anyone please help me?

    I'm afraid SNOM support won't be able to help you here either because the device is no longer supported.

    Hello Stefan,

    thanks for the feedback. However, could someone clarify whether the update order or the versions were incorrect? It's confusing that the update only works with version 6.5.10, especially when there are also versions 6.5.13, 6.5.15, 6.5.17, and 6.5.20 available.

    Could it be related to version 7.1.30 for the version transition?

    No one should have to produce something that ends up in the trash.
