802.1x is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.

Hello,

I have installed M900 bases with the latest firmware available. The on-site IT technician uses dot1x authentication on his infrastructure, and we are unable to start the device when this authentication is active.

The firmware 760/300 information states the following: 
802.1x is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.
The Base device will perform network authentication using its client certificate. Network-side validation of the Snom SHA2 Snom Certificate Authority certificates is mandatory.

We have tried various configurations without being able to successfully authenticate.

Do you have any advice on the authentication to apply for the IT technician?

Or can we disable this authentication? Is this planned for future releases?
