Hi everyone, is there a way to change the displaytext on the M70 to show a longer string? The caller names are resolved in the phone system and transmitted to the m70. But since only about 12 characters are displayed, it is often not possible to recognize who the caller is.  Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    This issue was solved in a recent firmware, 650B2 as below

    BSV650B2 (base) HSV650B2 (handset) - Official Release

    Please notice that this isn't available for any other base station than M900, but you should be able to upgrade the M70 even if you are using another base and it should work anyway.

    Also please notice we are seeing issues with our downloads server right now so you may be unable to upgrade using that, please try a local upgrade as below

    thank you very much for your quick reply!
    I have successfully performed the update.  Unfortunately, the name is still not fully displayed. 
    Do I have to adjust a setting for this now? 
    Where is documented how many characters can be displayed now?

    Hi,

    This should work virtually for anything displayed on the screen as the name should scroll and show everything there is no be shown.

    This may require for an upgrade of the base too then, I am testing on an M900 with the firmware upgrade and an M70 and it works correctly, unfortunately there is no upgrade available for the M700 and there will never be as that's an EOS device, sorry about that.
