Hello everyone,

After updating our M700 bases, one became inaccessible.

I think the update failed.

Now this M700 no longer works (it flashes red) and its network interface no longer takes a DHCP address.

What can I do to put this M700 in "recovery" mode ?

In short, thank you for your help to bring this base back to life...

Best regards,

Julien

  1. Hi,

There is no recovery for our DECT base stations I am afraid, the only thing that could help is to reset the base again in a network with no LLDP protocol and no DHCP options 132/133

If that still doesn't work, you may get a replacement if your device is still covered by the warranty, please contact your Snom reseller.

    Thank you

    Hi Gianmaria,

    Thank you for your feedback.

What is the complete and detailed procedure for a RESET?

I updated 3 bases and finally a base did not update and it is now unusable... It is no longer under warranty and I will find it a shame to have to buy a base when the problem does not come from us.

The design of the product raises questions because in case of an update problem, it seems surprising that the product becomes unusable...

    Thanks for your help.

  3. Hi,

This is how you can reset the base

How to factory reset the M300,M700,M900

I understand what you are saying but this reset will completely recover the base to factory, if this doesn't work nothing else would and the base will never boot properly at all, there could be no recover procedure that does better than the reset via the physical key.

    Thank you
