Release Date: 28 August 2019
Important Notes
SAP-3756: In a certain multicast scenario when a caller (B) is accepted by a phone (A) that receives already a multicast page, the caller cannot hear the audio from callee (A). This issue is isolated to D717 & D735.
→ No workaround
SAP-3826: By the synchronisation with Mozilla Trusted Root CA certificates, three CA certificates which are expired, but continuously maintained by Mozilla are currently part of the pre-installed certificate list.
(see phone-webinterface: /certificates_authority_certs.htm)
→ No workaround, for more details please see the related discussion regarding Mozilla security: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.security.policy/pPjsof9NzyE
SAP-3733: If auto_dial (with auto_dial_target defined) is used, the auto dial is performed as usual, but instead of outgoing call screen the enter numbers screen is shown until the call is accepted or otherwise processed (e.g. declined etc.)
→ No workaround
SAP-3557: When using LLDP and the network settings are updated / a new LLDP policy is received and applied, the message about the event e.g.: "New network policy 101/2/42 Rebooting..." is not displayed anymore
→ No workaround
Changes since release version 10.1.39.11 SAP-869: Introduced a new variable $disconnect_reason (to carry the PBX exit state) that can be used e.g. in action URL's based on received SIP Cancel event (like "468 Busy Here" or "480 temporarily unavailable" etc.) [SCPP-5285] SAP-780: Improved XSS protection measuring, critical strings e.g. OnKey & OnClick can now be accepted as part of setting values (e.g. Monkey or MyFonclick were refused) [SCPP-7460] SAP-2162: The phone did apply empty Smartlabel or SmartScreen labels based on received x-buttons SIP MESSAGES, see: pbx_buttons [SCPP-8261]Changelog
New features:
SAP-1450: New LDAP client support of RFC 2891 LDAP Control Extension for Server Side Sorting of Search Results via the control OID 1.2.840.113556.1.4.473, see ldap_sort_mode too [SCPP-4745]
SAP-3415: The default Directory & LDAP directory search edit mode is now configurable with setting: edit_mode_for_directory_search and the default value is: abc (alpha) [SCPP-8784]
SAP-3431: It is now possible to upload and configure custom images/icons on the phone, see WUI: Preferences/Appearance/Custom images (or directly: /image_upload.htm), for more info please see Uploading custom images
SAP-3450: New auto-adjustment of images and icons to the wide pixel type display @D717 (Please be aware: this supersedes the HowTo: [Prepare images for the D717], new value see: custom_bg_image_url)
SAP-3533: New support for translation and customization of SIP error reply text (for 4xx, 5xx and 6xx replies), for details see the corresponding HowTo:Translating or customizing SIP error responses
SAP-3535: New setting tls_session_cache_mode which supports the control of the SSL/TLS session cache handling
SAP-3732: New language variant of English added that supports Chinese, Korean, and Japanese characters: "English(CJK font)"
SAP-3753: A new setting: call_screen_photo_size supports the configuration of the size of photos in call screens (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL)
SAP-3782: For all setting names in /setting.htm a corresponding documentation link directing to this Snom Service Hub was added (Note: several settings still miss documentation, planned for completion)Improvements and modifications:
SAP-976: Setting block_url_dialing is extented with a "PUI only" functionality and this is the new default (=pui), - usual Web-CTI/TAPI solutions will work as with: block_url_dialing=off
SAP-2318: The setting selected_line_text_color now also supports to control the color of the currently edited character
SAP-2467: Reintroduced the XML browser object attribute "clearlight", which supports to switch off the message LED via [wiki:Snom XML Minibrowser], plus it is available now also in [wiki:IPPhoneDirectory] [SCPP-6962]
SAP-2601: Improved readability by drawing of list elements in the idle screen with rounded rectangles
SAP-2997: Reintroduced the option (known from <=8.9.3.x firmware) inside the call history details view, that allowed to re-use call records / edit before dialing [SCPP-8545]
SAP-3116: Label behavior for $name on SmartScreens and expansion modules (D3 & D7) is now unified
SAP-3126: The phone now indicates (in PUI, with a status message and WUI at /adr.htm) that the local directory (tbook) is full during an attempt to add more contacts than possible
SAP-3448: Improved readability @D717
SAP-3488: Coherent handling of XML definitions for context-sensitive fkeys (gui_fkeys)
SAP-3521: The SmartLabel behavior and configuration is now unified @D717, D735 and D765
SAP-3701: Improved reliability for initial XSI address-book download #Broadsoft
SAP-3773: When receiving Motion JPEG the transparency of the UI elements is now auto adjusted for all color display modelsCorrections:
SAP-2537: If F_Support was configured on context-sensitive key F4 it did not work in edit number screen as in idle
SAP-2959: In Fkey configuration the type "Menu Shortcut" was not correctly pre-selected
SAP-3098: The "Transfer failed" error message for transfer or call park scenarios was partially covered by the SmartLabel when configured to short label view
SAP-3361: For alphanumeric inputs in dial screen & in LDAP search the phone created permutations for the lookup, now it only performs exact match searching as expected
SAP-3407: In blind transfer the target number for "Transferred to" showed: "unknown" with setting seconds_to_show_transfer_success_for > 0 (attended transfer is not affected)
SAP-3426: A "Declined" message was wrongly displayed after a successful transfer if the call was ended before the transfer completion [SCPP-8811]
SAP-3441: If initial query was deactivated, any LDAP search showed "No final answer from LDAP server for request..." [SCPP-8824]
SAP-3469: It was impossible to dial a "Speed dial or BLF" call at the first time after a key was configured as "Speed dial or BLF" by longpressing a function key (LP-feature), but any subsequent attempt did work
SAP-3500: The backtrace for debugging purposes after a crash was not shown anymore in WUI page /support.htm
SAP-3522: When plain text provisioning instead of XML was used additional identities (ID 02 and higher) did not register on first attempt, a manual re-registration did work (or just a reboot, which leads to a re-registration)
SAP-3544: The phone did reject calls from other brands of SIP phones when using the iLBC codec and the ptime is not set
SAP-3549: The phone was sending a specific "epv=%3c" element in SIP contact header in decoded form "epv=<" (altering the SIP URI), so Communication Manager and Session Manager did drop calls after 32 seconds #Avaya [SCPP-8875]
SAP-3566: In-dialog session refresh UPDATE or INVITE doesn't stop any more an ongoing Multicast page
SAP-3616: InputToken was not replaced in the URL when parsed by the [wiki:Snom XML Minibrowser]
SAP-3620: If a configured name applied via Virtual Device Manager did include a special character, the corresponding SmartLabel was displayed empty #Broadsoft
SAP-3690: Correction for timestamp in XSI call history details #Broadsoft
SAP-3710: If the user changed to Fkey page 2-4 it did interfere dialing with Web-CTI/TAPI solutions like e.g. 3CX client using /command.htm @SmartScreen models & @D735
SAP-3718: The processing of a fetch of very large address books, was detected by watchdog erroneously as an application freeze and it did reboot the phone
SAP-3720: Treatment for Linux vulnerabilities: CVE-2019-11477: SACK panic and CVE-2019-11478: SACK slowness
SAP-3752: If "Alternative Display Trigger" was set to "Short Press P3 Key" using the NavKey to browse menu did accidentally trigger SmartLabels @D717
