Installing the VPN Feature on Version 8

Important note

• The below VPN patch must be installed only for the following firmware version ranges:
  • 8.7.5.15 <= x <= 8.7.5.48
  • 8.9.3.6 <= x <= 8.9.3.20
    
    

Installation instructions

1. Right-click on the appropriate link for your device and choose Copy shortcut:
   
   
2. Open the Web User Interface and navigate to the Software Updatepage
   
   
3. Paste the link into the Firmware field
   
   
   Web User Interface -> Software Update -> Firmware
   
   

4. Press Load
   --> The Device reboots and starts the software update.
   
   

   Note: Do not disconnect the power at anytime!
5. Check your firmware version afterwards
