If you do not want to be disturbed but do not want to activate DND, whereby all calls are rejected directly, then the new "Silent Mode" feature of firmware version 10 provides exactly the desired intermediate solution.
If you activate the "Silent Mode", the ringing is switched off, but you can still see incoming calls on the display and decide whether you want to answer or not.
Activate Silent Mode
Its activation reduces the call indication to visual only, minimizing user distraction.
1) From idle just press the Silent Mode key on the Snom SmartScreen.
2) The idle screen will clearly indicate the activation of Silent Mode. In addition, the corresponding Silent Mode LED will lit up.
3) Of course, the user can also activate it for an incoming call to silence the ringer on demand.
