That depends on the base station model

On the M700 / M900

Create the SIP Extension and assign it to a handset

  • Login to the Web user interface and navigate to Extensions →  Add Extensions
  • On the “Add extension” screen you can create the SIP Extension and assign it to any of the available DECT registered handset Indexes



  • Save the changes and verify the SIP Extension has been assigned to the chosen M25, M65, M70, M80, M85, M90 handset

  •  In the above example you can see that we have assigned SIP extensions 34052, 34053 and 34054 to Index#2

Switch SIP Extensions on the M25, M65, M70, M80, M85, M90 Handset

  • On the handset press the Menu key →  Settings →  and press the Menu key (up and down) to select the "Line" option



  • You should now see the available SIP extensions for that handset

 

  • The listed extensions are active for inbound calls, but for the purpose of making outbound calls, you can select the primary SIP extension/line in this menu.


On the M300

Create the SIP Extension and assign it to a handset

  • Login to the Web user interface and navigate to Extensions →  Add Extensions


  • On the “Add extension” screen you can create the SIP Extension and assign it to any of the available DECT registered handset Indexes



  • Save the changes and verify that the SIP Extension has been assigned to the chosen M25, M65, M70, M80, M85, M90 handset


  •  In the above example you can see that we have assigned SIP extensions 5658 and 5695 to DECT handset 02556FCE35 Index# 3

  • On the handset press the Menu key →  Settings → and press the Menu key (up and down) to select the "Line" option.



  • You should now see the available SIP extensions for that handset.

 

  • The listed extensions are active for inbound calls, but for the purpose of making outbound calls, you can select the primary SIP extension/line in this menu.


On the M200

  • Under System → Handset Settings → Account Assignments you can choose which extensions to assign to which handset. You can also choose the Default account for outgoing calls:
