When using a Grandstream PBX, you may notice that the BLF you've configured on a Snom phone aren't working as expected: they may be solid red instead of blinking red if the monitored extension is ringing, or they may not light up at all
This may be due to the lack of the "direction" indicator in the incoming SIP Notify from the PBX to the phone
To solve this you need to change the parameter user_server_type and set it to "recipient" for each SIP identity configured on the phone
