On our new D8xx desk phones series we have a new web interface, called Phone Manager, that can be reached by using https://phone_IP in a browser
Using that, there is now a simple way to change any settings, even if not in any other menu, directly from the web interface
- Log in as admin in the web interface
- On the left menu, click onto Maintenance to open the sub-menu, then click onto Settings List
- Now in the search bar you can search for any parameter you want to change, as webserver_type in our example below, and you will see that parameter with the assigned value
- Now you can click on the parameter's name, in blue, and a popup window will come up, in there you can assign the new value to the parameter and click on "Set"
- Now on the top right corner of the screen, you will see two options: use "Revert Changes" to revert all changes since the last time you've applied them, and "Apply" to simply apply your changes
Once you applied your changes the phone will use the new set parameter, with the new value, unless it requires a reboot to be effective: in that case please reboot the phone, and the change will be in effect
