  • How to enable early logs on desk phones

In some cases, the Snom Support Team can ask you to provide the Early logs.

In order to catch this type of logs you have to configure the phone the following:


  1. Set the parameter log_early_to_flash to value "on"
    You can perform this step via HTTP Request:
    http://Ip_of_your_phone/dummy.htm?settings=save&log_early_to_flash=on&store_settings=save
    or via Provisioning:
    setting log_early_to_flash=on
  2. Reboot the phone and wait
  3. Connect to http://phoneIP/support.htm when the phone is fully reachable
  4. Open the early logs by click the blue links (open in another tab)
  5. Copy and past all the information in a .txt file
  6. Attach the file to the support ticket
