Introduction

Once you have the SIP credentials of your RingCentral account you can configure your M-series DECT base station (M300 / M700 / M900).


Example of a RingCentral SIP account


Step 1: Configure the server configuration

  1. Open the Web User Interface of your base and navigate to the Servers section, and select "Add Server"

  2. Enter a 10-character Server Alias and the Registrar and Outbound Proxy given by RingCentral



    Once the information is added, click "Save" at the bottom of the page.


Step 2: Create the extension

  1. Navigate to the "Extensions" section and click Add extension




    Referring to your RingCentral SIP account settings, enter the information into the following fields and select the IPEI of the handset you want to assign to this extension.

    Extension:

    10000000000

    Authentication User Name:1111111111
    Authentication Password:AAAAAA
    Display Name:This will display on the handset. Something like "Front Desk"
    PIN:
    Mailbox Name:
    Mailbox Number:10000000000
    Server:RingCentra:sip.ringcental.com:5060



  2. When finished, click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

  3. When complete, tick the extension in the list and press "Start SIP Registration". The state of the extension should show "SIP Registered" and you should also see the successful registration on the handset.
