Go to AP Manager

First, from the Home page go to AP Manager:


Once in the AP Manager, open the App Store:



From the App Store "All apps", select Snom, then PhoneLink and the version of the app you want to install (in this example version 1019).

Then click Install




Add an App instance

Select the newly installed app on the left side of the screen, then click the Add button to add a new instance.


Fill in the Name, Domain of your PBX, and both Passwords. The password must be snom.

All the other fields (Webserver path, Database name & user) are automatically generated, and must not be modified.


Click Save to create the instance.



Start the SNOM PhoneLink app

  • First, the app must be initiated and after that you can start the instance (both are started via the same Start button).
  • Click on Installed apps on the left and then hit Start
  • If the App already has the status “Started” (green Play button), then continue to Start the Instance.



Start the Instance  

Select the instance, the row will turn blue. The Start button is enabled when the instance is stopped, click on Start.




It is possible that the instance is started automatically by starting the App.



Configure the SNOM PhoneLink app instance

Go to the Home screen:


Go to PBX Manager:


Click on AP PhoneLink:



At this point, you should see a green checkmark at the end of the line:



Now click on the word “Name” (or anywhere else on the line) to configure the user templates that are allowed to open the SNOM App configuration screen.
Typically these are only the Administrators:



Click the OK button at the bottom of the screen to save the changes.



Configure the SNOM PhoneLink app


Click on the Home button, so all the apps can be displayed:



Click on the orange "Home" button, so PhoneLink can be displayed on the main page:


Open PhoneLink on the starting page:


If the PBX App object was correctly configured in the previous step, then the first two status LEDs will be green:


All configuration fields are required. The Save button is enabled once all fields have a value.

  • API Key and API Secret must be created and can be retrieved from https://sraps.snom.com/home, in HomeAPI Keys
  • The Company ID is the ID from SRAPS (Home → Company → ID)
  • The PBX master password was provided when the PBX was installed. It is required to be able to decode the passwords from the user objects. It is configured via PBX → Config → Security.

    Do not confuse this password with the password of the admin-user (General → Admin).

If the PBX master password is correct, then the last status led will turn green as well (after clicking the Save button):
